Commencement

Students graduating please RSVP and select the number of guests you plan to bring. To ensure there are enough seats for all graduates to have loved ones attend, we can only offer up to 4 guests per graduate at this time. Guests will need to have the ticket QR code ready for check in when they arrive. Graduates need to claim their up to 4 guest tickets by May 10, following this date tickets will be redistributed to the waiting list. This is NOT a guarantee of additional tickets. If there are unclaimed tickets available on May 11, someone will reach out to students on the waiting list to claim additional guest ticket seats.

CollegeNow/Early Degree students do not need to register for guest tickets through CampusGroups. Please coordinate with Brent Doane to receive your tickets.

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS PLANNING TO GRADUATE
Students must apply to graduate in the semester prior to completing their program requirements.

After a student submits their application to graduate, the Office of Academic Records will begin a review of degree progress.

Students participating in the commencement celebration should arrive to line up at 5:00pm in the Fieldhouse.

The status of the graduation application and degree audit can be checked in DegreeWorks, or under the Planning tab in Self-Service (previously myINFO). An alert is sent to students once the official degree audit has been completed by the office of Academic Records.

Caps and Gowns
Caps and gowns are worn for the May Commencement. Good news: Your cap, gown and tassel are included in the student fees you already paid! Students can stop by the Bookstore to pick up their regalia starting May 1st through the day of the Commencement ceremony, there is no need to pre-order.
